Dental implants are the modern way to permanently replace missing teeth. They can also be used to stabilise loose dentures, allowing you to get back to eating and smiling without having to worry about your teeth.

Does it hurt ?

Implant treatment, like any other dental treatment, is performed with a local anaesthetic which ensures that the procedure is painless. After treatment there may be some discomfort, but we often find that our patients have not needed to take any pain relief.

When Should I Have An Implant?

Every patient is different: you may be seeking an implant having recently lost a single tooth or you may be looking to replace several teeth that have been missing for a while. It is true that there is often an ideal time to place an implant after the natural tooth is lost but an implant can often be placed many years later if conditions are right. Charles offers a free initial implant consultation to give advice on what is appropriate in an individual case.
